Her dynamic career spans as a solo and group performer, studio musician, songwriter, commissioned visual artist, and private instructor of guitar, voice, and piano.
Known for her versatile style, she seamlessly blends Latin R&B influences with Jazz and Pop, both with her voice and self accompanying instruments.
Her work as a solo artist has been multi-disciplinary, including the recent release of an entirely self made animated lyric music video for her newest single, “Cuerpo.”

Original Music

"NEVER LOVED YOU"
A jazz influenced RnB extravaganza, “Never Loved You” is the first single released by singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Melvys. Tinged by the personal memories of a young girl in Miami, “Never Loved You” is a chill bop that'll pleasantly stay stuck in your head.

"CUERPO"
An intimate look into the inner working thoughts of Melvys, “Cuerpo” is her second released single, a true blend of her sophisticated jazz tastes and eclectic R&B/Soul. A truly raw example of human emotion and grace.
